I have spent a lot of time talking about home security with many homeowners. I am trying to get some insight on the different ways that our homes can become at risk. One individual said that he had been home for the afternoon one day, but left to go pick his little boy up from hockey practice. After the guy finished speaking, he asked if he could talk it over with her inside the house. She declined, and the man again replied by asking if he could at least come inside to use her telephone. We have all had encounters with suspicious people and situations. Some are worse than others, like the first man’s experience. The information I am researching will help me determine what moves people to install a home alarm system. The woman said she chose to get one the following day.

I have learned about a ton of similar stories from other people. People never truly know what can happen on a certain day. I am sure these two people did not wake up that morning assuming something abnormal would happen that day. It definitely highlights the value in always being proactive.
