In a communique from the Al Qassam Brigade they reported on Friday's kassam rocket attacks on Ashkelon and Sderot:
Day: Friday.
Time: 11:20.
Operation: Shelling Al Majdal (sic) (Ashkelon) settlement (sic) by two Grad rockets.
Result: "18" Zionist settlers was wounded in the city.
We are warning the Zionist entity to continue its aggression against the Palestinian people, our response will be doubled. The calm will not prevent us to respond at the Zionist crimes in Gaza strip and West Bank.
The Israeli govt's response was to once again warn that should this happen again Israel will not hesitate to respond with a significant and strong retaliation.
One wonders what exactly it will take to get the government to recognize that the only 'quiet' in the South is one that suits Hamas. When will the government fulfill its obligation and primary function to protect its citizens in the South.
