Inevitably the media fastens on to the craziest of the people who come out of the woodworks when there's controversy in the air.
The flames fanned by a couple of Yesha rabbis and a few more from outside of Yesha against the outpost victory that The Yesha Council's perseverence snatched out of the jaws of defeat have produced the usual knee-jerk responses from the usual suspects. The crazier the better as far as the media is concerned.
On Galei Tsahal this morning a man was interviewed who said that there would be demonstrations outside of the homes of the Yesha leadership and that private investigators would be hired to shadow Yesha leaders to see how they conduct their lives.
Given the tire-slashing and flier-posting that Yesha leadership has had to endure while hammering out the legalization of the outposts, steps were taken to validate the credibility of such claims. There seems to be no basis for the rant.
