Abu Abir, Spokesman for Salah a-Din, an Arab terrorist group in Gaza, told the press on Saturday that an exercise was carried out by two units of 50 terrorists each to practice kidnapping an Israeli soldier from an IDF post. The terrorist used to play the part of the kidnapped soldier looked remarkably like Gilad Shalit.
Abir went on to say that should the prisoner exchange agreement being contemplated not be expedited, the Shalit family and all soldiers should be highly concerned. The implied threat for Shalit's safety and the safety of all IDF soldiers in every IDF post was barely veiled.
The terrorist spokesman pointed out that during the current ceasefire Hamas is rearming and carrying out training every day. When the ceasefire ends, they will be more than ready to pick up the fight where they left off.
